What is the mission of the Warrenton Youth Soccer Club? The founders of WYSC created the league as a place where children of all ages and abilities could learn about sports while having fun. The emphasis is on learning, teamwork and sportsmanship.

COMPETITIVE SOCCER OFFERS QUALITY TRAINING, BETTER COMPETITION

FORMING THREE TEAMS IN SPRING 2019 !

IS YOUR RECREATIONAL PLAYER INTERESTED IN PLAYING MORE COMPETITIVE SOCCER?

Why Competitive Soccer? At Warrenton Youth Sports Club, our primary goal is to develop soccer players. Once players move through the earliest phases in their soccer development (typically from our U5 through U8 programs) we recognize the importance in offering a wide range of competitive and recreational opportunities to best meet needs of a wide and diverse community of players.

Our Competitive Soccer program is designed for boys and girls ages U09 and above who show a strong ability to play soccer and who want to compete at a higher level. The goal of WYSC’s competitive soccer program is to offer more structured and effective training and higher-quality competition to help these motivated players realize their highest potential while having fun and developing their technical skills.

The Start: with the U09 age groups, players and their families are introduced to competitive soccer for the first time. At the earliest ages of our travel soccer program, our goal is to develop strong positive attitudes, build good work habits and foster a life-long appreciation and love for the game.

Time Commitment: Our competitive soccer program is a year-round commitment. Teams will hold two 90 minute weekly practices. Play in the NCSL league which offer 8 or 9 seasonal games. 50% of games are home games. One practice will be held at Athey complex, second practice will be held at the Northern Complex in Marshall.

Tournaments: competitive teams also play in several tournaments during the year. These tournaments give our competitive players the opportunity to test their progress while meeting players and playing against teams from other area clubs.
